When we reached the next stop, we were hoping for a bit of variety on the regional services and were expecting locomotive-hauled trains with E464 on the Regionale Veloce from Lecce to Bari, but what turned up was one POP after another. Luckily, we still had some soft drinks from Eurospin with us. The monotony finally came to an end when the Frecciarossa 8326 from Lecce whizzed past, after which we headed off to enjoy a delicious Italian pizza.
