In recent years, Greater Anglia’s entire fleet has been replaced by FLIRT and Aventra trains. Twelve 12-car Flirt trains, tailored to the British clearance gauge, were procured for the London Liverpool Street–Norwich Intercity service. These are divided into two sub-groups: Class 745 for the Intercity services and Class 745, which is used on the Stansted Express. However, Class 745/1 trains can also regularly be seen on the Norwich services.
