Re 420 226 + 205 / CH-Illnau

Unfortunately, the iconic Swiss locomotives from SLM are no longer used on a large scale as they were a few years ago. On the Zurich S-Bahn, they operate in a ‘sandwich’ formation with a locomotive of the same class and six DPZ carriages on various additional S-Bahn services. The one pictured here is the S19, which runs to Päffikon ZH and Koblenz. This HVZ-D will shortly reach Illnau junction station.
