Unfortunately, there are now almost no trains featuring S 252 to be seen in Spain. To the best of our knowledge, during our time there only one train pair a day ran between Valencia and Alicante, consisting of Eurosprinter and Talgo VI carriages. The Siemens-built locomotive will shortly arrive at Alicante station, where an S 334 diesel locomotive will be coupled to the front to take the train on to Cartagena.
