A night train from Rome arrives daily right on the border with Slovenia. As I was in the area anyway, I popped over to Italy one morning to catch the Intercity Notte 774. As a collector of rolling stock numbers, I was delighted to see the two E403 that were flanking the train. I also treated myself to a sandwich after taking the photos at the Autogrill there, to keep me going on the journey back to the former Yugoslavia.
