We were expecting a REX 4 from Selzthal to be the last train to arrive before the clouds covered the sun. It consisted of four City Shuttle carriages and the ‘Blutorange’ 1144 040. The locomotive, still in its original livery, still bears the distinctive splash mark on its front. Against the backdrop of a stunning Alpine panorama, we were able to capture this dreamlike formation on the Pyhrn Railway.
