Renfe operates two daily services to France via Perpignan. Marketed as AVE International’, there is one daily service between Madrid and Marseille and another between Barcelona and Lyon. One of the new Talgo S106 trains is currently in France undergoing approval tests. This means the days of TGV Spanish TGV in France are probably numbered. I took what is likely to be one of my last photos of S100 S100 in Leucate, France. It shows the AVE 9737 travelling from Barcelona to Lyon.
