Having finally reached the destination of our trip, we wanted to head to the spot where we’d taken our first night train to watch the sunrise. When we arrived in Prgomet, we made ourselves comfortable in our camping chairs and, shortly afterwards, we heard a loud hum. Far down in the valley, we saw the GM diesel locomotive, pulling a few cement wagons, making its way towards Split. Chugging along at just a few km/h, locomotive 2062 114 – gleaming in its beautiful new paintwork – passed us on the outside bend at Prgomet.
