ETR 400 032 / IT-Mezzocorona

On the way back from Dalmatia, we travelled home via Italy. Due to the bad weather on Sunday morning in and around Split, we decided to go to the southern approach to the Brenner Pass for a ‘highlight’ shoot, which began before sunrise. Three Frecciarossa trains were on the schedule, one of which was an ETR 500 and the other two ETR 400. Operating as FR 8529 the ETR 400 032 was still right at the start of its five-hour journey to Roma Termini, which involved two changes of direction.
