On 5 October, we headed to the Italian section of the Centovalli Railway. In mid-August, the old ABe 8/8 locomotives were assigned a new timetable, which offers new opportunities for photography. Before we photographed the train’s return journey to Locarno, we popped into a local shop to stock up on food so that we’d have enough energy to get through the rest of the day. For the train’s return journey, we chose the vantage point at the exit from Trontano.
