On the second day of my stay in Armenia, I drove to Lake Sevan to catch the regional train 6530 to Shorza. Due to a traffic jam on the way to the country’s largest body of water, I was unable to visit the first few locations I had planned. So I drove a few kilometres further straight away and spotted a freight train hauled by an iconic Soviet locomotive. I set off in pursuit straight away. I managed to take the first photo of the Lenin locomotive right at the start of the lake.
