During the night of 2 to 3 January 2026, there was fresh snow right down to the lowlands. When the clouds had cleared in the afternoon, I went to Boniswil to photograph an RABe 520. On the section of track through the village, newly built in 2011, I was able to capture the RABe 520 012, even though the snow no longer provided complete cover.
