EL18 2242 / N-Finse

On the morning of 26 January, I took the first train from Bergen to Finse, Norway’s highest railway station at 1,222 metres above sea level. Shortly before the train pulled into the station, I positioned myself to photograph Train 62 from Bergen. With the Store Finsenuten in the background, EL18 2242 was set against a magnificent snow-covered landscape as the sun hung low in the sky.
