On weekday mornings, there is one Cargonet freight train and one OnRail train from Bergen to Alnabru. It is rather rare for Onrail Eurodual to run on the Bergen Line. Because the oncoming train was delayed, there was no need to wait for a passing manoeuvre at Myrdal, so the train set off ahead of schedule – something I didn’t realise as I had no mobile signal. I was a little surprised when I heard the train; I then got into position as quickly as possible to photograph train 5922 from Bergen, which wasn’t particularly well-loaded.
