On the morning of 26 April, the night trains from Germany were diverted via Singen. I took up position at the classic spot near Lottstetten to photograph the 458; just before it, a DB IC IC turned up. Ever since the switch from Kiss to Traxx with Dosto carriages, the Stuttgart–Zurich service has suffered from a lack of reliability. On the plus side, this means a bit more variety for photographers. BR 147 587 brings the IC 181 to Zurich on time, for once.
