On 29 October 2022, the RhB set the world record for the longest narrow-gauge passenger train. Twenty-five trains, each comprising four carriages, formed a 100-carriage-long red convoy that travelled down the Albula Valley. The photograph shows the front of the record-breaking train in front of the Schmittentobel Viaduct, the middle section on the imposing Landwasser Viaduct, and the rear of the train had not even reached Filisur station yet. The event was supported by, amongst others, Stadler Rail, the manufacturer of the Capricorn trains. Other sponsors included Märklin, ABB, Sersa and Blick, who streamed the spectacle live online.
