ATR 100 002 / IT-Schluderns/Sluderno

The ATR 100 002 left Mals station a few minutes ago. Work on electrifying the line’s lowermost section is currently in full swing. As the tunnel cross-sections need to be widened in some tunnels, a rail replacement service has been put in place between Töl and Meran. From mid-2023, trains will only run from Monday to Friday to allow the electrification work to progress more quickly. After that, new Alstom Coradia Stream trains will be introduced.
