Since taking over the Schaffhausen–Erzingen route, Thurbo has had to fit five vehicles with WLAN. The vehicles are normally leased to SBB GmbH, as it operates the route. The ‘bwegt’ lettering on the power pack is clearly visible from the outside. The vehicles are sometimes also used outside their normal operating area; for example, the RABe 526 731 is in service on the S5 between Weinfelden and St. Margrethen.
