I never would have thought that in 2023 I’d see a scheduled Intercity train that still had B21-73 carriages in its formation. Yet on 7 January 2023, an IC3 passed in front of my lens that was actually carrying two such carriages. However, the carriages were only used to reinforce the standard 8-carriage formation. This unscheduled train was hauled by a Re 460.
