The D445 1034, which belongs to the Fondazione Fs, the historical heritage organisation of the Italian State Railways, was in service every weekend in September between Syracuse and Ragusa. The services appear to have been very well attended, though this may also be because the tickets were five times cheaper than those for the standard regional train on the same route.
