Due to the derailment in the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the IC2, IC21 and EC services connecting German-speaking Switzerland with Ticino are being diverted via the mountain route. As can be seen in the picture, a Giruno manufactured by Stadler is usually in service on these trains.
