ONCF DH 428 / Oued Metlili – Taourirt

On the afternoon of 13 February, we had to contend with sandstorms east of Taourirt (تاوريرت). We still wanted to try our luck at El Aïoun (العيون سيدي ملوك), but gradually we had to accept that the light and visibility were getting worse and worse. We turned back towards Taourirt (تاوريرت) and waited near Mestegmer (مستكمر) for the next westbound train. To our surprise, the Al Atlas 206 from Oujda (وجدة) had been provided with a sleeper carriage for the transfer. This was clearly visible, lined up behind the DH 428.
