The journey on the Al Atlas 101 from Casablanca (الدار البيضاء) to Beni Ansar (بْني نصار) takes over ten hours. The express train was hauled by an Alstom Prima II as far as Fez (فاس), after which a diesel locomotive took over. On 16 February, it was the DH 373, a GT26CW-2 built by EMD in 1974. I was waiting for the Al Atlas 101 at Sidi Harazem (سيدي احرازم), but was surprised by a freight train at the scheduled time. The passenger train eventually left Fes (فاس) half an hour late. Shortly afterwards, I was able to photograph the DH 373 pulling the express train on the truss bridge.
